Not as far as I know, there aren't any other application that can do that, not even for microsoft windows.

One option would be to export things as postscript in MSP and then import those in Scribus (www.scribus.com) and continue the work there.

There are people who has managed to run MSP with wine/corssoffice/win4lin, so you could try it out yourself if you can't leave MSP behind you.
