how to do i fix this?

You need to be root to edit system files, use the su kommand in a terminal or
sudo to get root privileges.

Hi

I just used gentoo cd to get into the file system, however, I don't
know what to edited.

this is what I have in /etc/fstab

/dev/hda3 / reiserfs defaults 0 1

proc /proc proc defaults

I believe it started when I remove following from /etc/init.d

"knoppix-autoconfig"
"knoppix-hd-autoconfig"
"knoppix-hd-config"

I was trying to remove few things from start scripts, and I think I
went too far :(
