on those that unknowiningly get sucked into Linux and think
that just because some piece of hardware is easily installed and
configured under Windows, the same will be true of Linux.

Why should anyone thnk that because something installs easily under one OS
that it will under another?

I feel sorry for those folks because it's not their fault they were sucked
in.
The blame LIES with the LIEnix community which likes to ignore hardware
incompatibilities. Not at all.

But it goes a bit deeper than that. Some technologies are inherently
problematic and other particular devices should be avoided under any OS. The
fact that you are running WinDOS does not mean that you can act like a total
moron and choose to have 0.0 responsibility for your buying decisions.

So, you are saying PCLinuxOS sucks....

You know, "works for me", it must be you.....

I wonder how many hours this poor soul has wasted trying to make this
work.

Dunno. He should have checked. Everything doesn't work with everything. Everything doesn't even "work well". Running WinDOS is no excuse
not to be aware of what product you're buying. That kind of stupidity
just helps to perpetuate crap.
