Speaking for myself, from FUs, since OP is careening into my bozobin...
(1) Anyone who thinks Usenet's a freebie 24/7/365 helldesk is ignorant.
(2) If it's now on Red Hat, I think that's the place to start.
(3) If other toys are SuSE, I think that should be next.
(4) If proprietary, I think it's completely fscked.
(5) If Linux fails, I forget it and move on.
Simple, no?
