Which install program? Do you mean the GARNOME installer?
The Operating System install program for Gnome the latest distro
from the gnome website: foresight_9273_foresight-2.18.0-x86.iso

Passwords in the Unix world are case sensitive.

Do post the exact error message you get and telling what you are trying to do,
as you don't make sense at all.
I am trying to install the OS booting from the cd burned from the
above mentioned ISO......the OS install program halts at the
login/password cue,,,,,,no matter what login/password I try to use
the OS install program will not accept them.
I set the language to English US, tried various l/p combos all with
the same result it will not let me set the login\password.
It would be nice if the l/p were an option but it is not the OS
installation program stops there.

I tried another reinstall to see the exact message:
Incorrect username or password. Letters must be typed in the correct
case.

This is from the Welcome screen the first thing that shows up after
the files on the cd load. The version is 2.18.0 distro is Foresight
Linux.

I am able to use the Live CD, just cannot seem to install the OS.
