Avast is a nice free virus scanner for linux. Get Ad Block Plus for
Firefox to stop spyware. Also a program called No Script for Firefox
will stop malicious code from running without your permission.
Other virus scanners are harder to set up like ClamV and AVG for Linux.
They really are not necessary though. Suse's AppArmor is enabled by default.
