I am back. I keep going back to Ubuntu due to it's ease of use. (In
my opinion.) The 7.04 recognizes my wireless card in my laptop. I
have manually installed the drivers before. (MadWifi) So, I am
capable. It is just "nice" to not have to.

So or are there other flavors of Linux that readily recognizes
wireless cards? I was told by my co-worker he thought Suse did.

Thank you all in advance for your input and knowledge.

from what i remember Vector Linux (slackware) was very good at supporting my wireless card out of the box, though i have since switched to Arch Linux, where i had to load madwifi semi-manually, though I think it was because i only did the base installation...Puppy would also recognize my card...
