Ex Windows Slave

For a long time I wanted to migrate from M$ Windows.
But I was afraid that there were no Linux drivers for my
D-links wireless network and Brother MFC printer.

Today, after realizing that Windows Vista 64bit ver. does'nt support
32bit drivers, 16bit software and won't fully embrace 64bit
computing for years. I've made the first steps to re-enter
the Linux world. ( I ran Mandrake linux 8.1 year ago).

To my wonderful suprise, after downloading Ubuntu linux
and installing it on my networked Athlon XP 1700 system,
it recognize my d-links PCI adapter. I figured out how
connect to the d-links wireless router and I was in.

Eventuality I plan to install the 64bit Ubuntu ver.
on my Athlon 64 FX-55 system thats connected
to the Brother MFC USB printer and router.

I feel like a freed slave that was betrayed, neglected and abused by
Micro$oft for years!
