Hi, all.

I'm pretty new to Linux. Couple of months ago I installed Ubuntu 7.04 and
everything has been hunky dory since. Now, I have a perfectly working
system and pretty much all the software I need, firmly installed and
smoothly rolling. So I'm wondering, is the soon-to-be-released Gutsy
Gibbon significantly better and/or more advanced in its features than
Feisty?

I know, it's probably too early to say for the most part. Also, I've heard
horror stories about dist-upgrading gone awry. And just thinking about
going through the Maemo SDK/Scratchbox -install _again_ is plain
hair-rising...

Still, I'd like to hear what other people in this NG think about it.
Dist-upgrading in spite of certain risks and all the hassle.

Generally, the process works quite well. I will wait until it has been out
(released) for a month or two before I upgrade. I'll also monitor the
Ubuntu newsgroup for problems.
