Really now, best for what?
I'm ordering vista ultimate and using partition commander to place either a
#2or#3partion? To run inernet tv I've found a 100meg program but I have to
have linux to run it. So which one is the easiest, and best?
There is no 'best'. I run three different distros at home - for different
purposes. I use Gentoo on my mini-itx because it compiles from source and
gives an optimized system. I use Ubuntu on most systems because it is
relatively easy to set up, quite robust and easy to maintain. I use Elive
on older equipment because I think it has the best implementation of
Enlightenment - a lightweight desktop which does not require much
resources.
I would suggest that you might want to start with Ubuntu or Mint - which
is based on Ubuntu but has all the multimedia codecs available more
easily.
