Hi
I am using Kubuntu/Debian base distro. Everything is working fine,
expect smbclient.
This is what I get when I typed smbclient -L p3 (p3 is my Pentium 3
computer running Windows 9x)
smbclient -L p3
Connection to p3 failed (Error NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME)
I googled the problem, it end up showing me links to "security level"
-- something to do with "system-config-securitylevel " and g-d knows
what else.
Anyone knows how am I suppose to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Can you resolve "p3" outside of samba? (ping p3)
Is your firewall allowing nmbd traffic?
Is nmbd running?

I told you this was going to happen.
