I have installed Apache,MySQL,PHP through Synaptic Package Manager.
I does not appear in any of the menus.
Is it only available through the terminal?
"It"?
You installed a web server that is probably configured to display nothing
but the "it works" page.
You installed a database management system that contains no database yet.
You also installed the interpreter of a programming language.
What do you expect them to do now?
When I installed the similar package on Windows got a few new items on the program menu. It was a while ago but do remember some configuration options as well.
I was just asking if they appeared on the menu structure and I was looking in the wrong place.
I have done some reading and it seems that there is a bit of process for mysql it seems to involve a lot of terminal line commands.
There is way too much to expect to get the answer in a newsgroup, I am sorry .
