Re: For The Newbies

Yeah, I guess every group has them.

Certainly. However, judicious use of Ctrl L fixes the problem well enough!

I've got a couple of relentless ones over in a webmaster group.

In any crowd, there are bound to be some deluded nutters!

Sometimes usenet is surprisingly peaceful and you can take pride in helping
people, and sometimes, well, you run into a Sid, or a Guy, or a Jerry,
or "fill in the blank".

Just ignore or killfile them when they're recognised. It makes for a /much/
more pleasant time on Usenet.

I think it might be time to take a break from usenet again. I'm starting
to get annoyed. :-)

Don't let them get the better of you. Just stop responding to "Sidney the
moron" and it'll give up soon enough. As long as you give a response, it'll
keep trying to annoy you. Don't bother!
