Hi
I am thinking of buying a netbook this christmas, and I was hoping to
buy something that I can dual boot with linux.
I am going googling, and have read some post on remote-exploit.org,
but so far I have not seen what I want. I need a netbook -- touchsceen
ability to use windows software, and reading documents.
These are the stuff I need.
10in matte screen -- touchscreen
Atom (would prefer dual core)
2 gig of rams or more
linux friendly wifi b/g/n (with pocket injection) -- I do have ALFA
AWUS036H 1000mw
bluetooth 2.o + EDR
builtin camera + mic
multimedia card for transferring from camera.
Although not a big deal but I would prefer if I could use windows x+p
sp3, and switch to windows 7 basic when I really have to.
Please let me know which netbook I should look for during xmas.
Thanks
I found a very nice notebook Asus EE PC 100HA. I am dual booting it
with backtrack, and I was able to inject pocket into my router. Also,
I have installed Windows XP SP3, and some education program need for
university + cisco test.ow
Battery was fully charged at 4:30PM today. It now show blick red in
windows. It given more around 8.5hr. I partition the hard-drive +
install the distro while the machine was running on battery.
Now I just have to install KDE 3.4, and I am a happy boy :)
This is a nice book for testing network security. You can't use this
book for cowpatty, but it can get you the info you need. I broke my
own security, and now I know how to make it even better.
Still looking for sometype of netbook with same feature as this
netbook. Dual core atom, fully support by Linux, XP + Windows 7 (aka
Vista SP3).
