Hello,

I'm not a newbie here...have been using Linux for a couple of years
but still have to ask for assistance from time to time.

I have a USB Lexar Smart Media card reader that I use with my Fuji
2800Z digital camera. I got the device ID and all the necessary
info to add it to /etc/fstab on my Red Hat 9.0 machine. First
time up...it mounted with no problems and I was able to take
images off of it. After I unmounted it, I could not get it to
mount again....not without a reboot.

This is the line I added this line to my /etc/fstab file:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/fuji auto noauto,user,ro 0 0

I also tried this with vfat as the file system instead of auto.
No luck either way with trying to remount the card so I can get
images off of it. As I said before, I was able to successfully
mount the card and pull an image off before unmounting and
removing to take another picture. When I put it back in the
reader and tried to mount it I get this error:

"mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none
was specifed."

Anyone else get theirs to work and keep working?
Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!
Allen
