The point is "don't assume that (version X has a book on the shelf)
implies (version X is the latest version), because it's not even
close to true". A person in a real hurry might make that mistake.
The OP said "latest version". For RH, this is probably 9.x (since
9.1 isn't out yet). For Mandrake, does it have to be 9.1x, or would
9.0x suffice? Depends on how different those versions are, not to
mention the relative priority of "today" vs "latest". (If you
absolutely can't get 9.0 today, then would you rather have 8.0 today
or 9.0 tomorrow?)
