Wow...I've had that problem installing Debian, but I have never had
trouble with RH...Usually autodetects stuff very well...Hmmm.
You may have to edit your XF86Config file.
If you can get the base system to install and boot to a prompt (single
user mode) you should be able to edit this file with vi or joe or
whatever. Check things like the hsync, vrefresh modes and available
resolutions to see that they are compatible with your hardware, and that
the proper driver for you vidcard has been chosen. If you find
something there amiss, you may be able to correct the problem and be all
set. I recommend (if you have nother machine handy) logging onto
irc.freenode.net and joining #redhat and #xfree86 where you can find
folks who may be able to assist you in this process. I had trouble with
this while installing Debian and found folks on irc to be extrememly
helpful.
