I need a video card (agp type) that is capable of doing 3d acceleration
in linux..
now before I get several statements of .. "well 99% can do that", let me
clarify...
I at the moment have a radeon 64 meg ddr agp video card.. but when I try
to install DRI for the 3d drivers, they claim to install but they won't
work and the forum at dri can't seem to solve the problem..
so what I am looking for is a agp video card that has linux 3d drivers
sold with it. has any video card company done this? ..
if not then has any video card company created up to date 3d drivers and
put them on their web site, that are simple to install and have a 99%
success ratio for success of installing and using the drivers?
if not at that level
then at the very least .. what is the easiest agp video card to install
in linux and put in 3d drivers for? .. popular vote on this one is what
I'll probably have to go with.. unless there is a site that some how
rated it..
thanks for any help on this
