RedHat 9 and Linksys

Let me preface this post by saying I know nothing at all about Linux. I've
only ever done windows. But I got tired of the monotony of windows and
wanted to try something new. So i downloaded v9 and put it on my laptop.
Im afraid Im in a bit over my head, but I dont want to give up. My first
problem is getting my linksys pcmcia wireless card to work. I have no idea
how to get it to go. Can someone give me the rookie explanation, or is this
just going to be too difficult for me? Please be gentle. Im new, but I
really want to learn linux.
