RH 9 and Orinoco

RH running likea champ but when I try to connect to my AP using 64bit WEP,
it does not happen. (Orinoco client, linksys AP)

If i disable wep....works fine. I believe the wep key is accurate (i have
typed it in many times)

Also, any advice on putting the card in listening mode (for kismet or
airsnort)?
