So install Ogle and Xine. Both are very capable DVD players. Use mplayer
to watch other things. Install Totem (!!!) for good multimedia integration
with Nautilus.
A US company like RedHat probably can't afford the DMCA liability of
including an unlicensed DVD player, and to use a licensed player, like
Lindows does, raises the cost considerably.
Here's a list of the RPMs I installed for this. Install these and you'll
be able to watch DVDs, with full menu functions, watch many types of
Quicktime files and Windows Media files, and even do some DVD ripping (use
DVDRip as a great GUI). Use www.rpmfind.net to locate them.
