Need help to get al mouse buttons working

Hi All,

 I am running RedHat v7.3 (or 7.2 cannot remmber which as of now and I am
witing from work, not home) at any rate, I have a logitech mouse (one of
those mouses that can go in USB or with adapter, go in the PS2 port) it
has a wheel and 3 buttons... the 3 buttons work fine, but I have not been
able to figure out ho t get the wheel to work, I have tried to add the
following to my XF8Config-4 file (in the section of the mouse driver
stuff)

 Option "Buttons" "5"
 Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

but to no avail... any suggestions from anyon would be welcome.
