up2date fatal unpack error

    I am getting the following error trying to update iproute via up2date:
    There was a fatal RPM install error. The message was:
    There was a rpm unpack error installing the package: iproute-2.4.7-7.90.1

    I deleted the rpm and hdr file and downloaded again via the update tool but
    got the same results.

    Anyone else have this or know what the solution is?
