i just installed red hat 9
to dual boot with win xp pro.
aparently, both os's work well (!)
my machine is connected
to the internet via the cable company
and my network card is connected
to the cable modem and to the
cable company line (not the phone line).
i also have a ISP for this connection.
i have a great internet connection using via my XP os and
i would like to configure the Linux internet one.
my red hat opens to the GNOME desktop.
Note: i am a COMPLETE beginner and i need all the help i can get.
please be gentle with me :)
thank you!
