    In Windows XP, Disk Management will allow you to convert to NTFS. Right
    click on My Computer, select Manage, in the left pane, click on Disk
    Management. The pane on the right will display all the partitions.
    Right-click on a FAT16/32 partition and select Convert....
    ....the rest is history
