Hi
I have thoroughly screwed up the system trying to fix multiboot
problem. Now Grub wont boot.
History of the system
It had window 2000 server and we wanted to have a Linux working hand
in hand with it.
So we added another HD and installed RH9 w/ Grub.
However switching boot sequence in bios could still switch between the
OS
Neither the windows booted linux nor the Grub booted window ! the
problem begins.
In trying to fix this w2k was made slave, linux as master and both
drives were pushed to same ide channel.
The big mistake was not changing the partition names before booting.
Now when trying to boot the Grub fails with "Grub" on the screen.
Cannot go through rescue mode then it says cannot load the swap
partition.
Do not have the boot disk. Is there any solution or just reinstall.
Thanks
newbie
