I hope someone can help, I do not want to reinstall again. I am using RH9.
xserver will not start. I tried changing vid card driver from generic vesa
to radeon and am unable to access a gui desktop.
can someone please post directions (treat me like an idiot) on exactly what
I have to do to edit the appropriate file to change back to generic vesa
display adapter?
this is my first time trying this so I am at a big disadvantage and don't
understand all the terms. I tried linux rescue and it creates a mnt/sysimage
to, if I understood right, be edited. I don't know how to access this to
edit it.

thanks
