Mandrake 9.2 PowerPack Personal Edition would be my choice, but it
may depend on what you want if for.
I use it for web services/ mail relay/ smb file shares/ firewall/mrtg
graphing
etc etc. As a desktop OS is has all the apps you could need, but I
dont really use it for that.
I have also used
Debian
rh7/8/9
suse
but its mandrake for me.
