Does your boot disk support fat32 ( ie vfat ) ? If you created the disk
via the ghost utilites, then probably not, since I think they use IBM
dos as the default...Which only supports FAT16. IIRC, ghost does some
"magic" so that it can "see" partitions that dos can't, ntfs for example.
But you can't write/ghost *too* a file system that isn't supported by the
OS you booted into, only ghost from them.

So, you can either use a "regular" fat filesystem, or use a boot disk that
supports fat32...IE a boot disk created from Win98/ME, etc.

Finally, I don't know if I'd rely on a ghost backup of a Linux
partition...I know it's supported, but from what I've seen the results
aren't always the best. You may be better off with Linux native tools, or
something like partimage...Not saying it won't work, but you probably want
to test it *before* disater strikes.
