Printing

Hi all,
Im trying to use an smb shared printer on my Red Hat AS2.1 server. I used
the print config util and when I send a print job it says it went fine but
nothing spits out of the printer. If I open the shell and do an lpr -V
filename I get a response that the job printed @localhost.
I then tried the same setup on a redhat workstation with the exact same
results. Im almost certain that Ive done the setup correctly , I even read
th F'n manuel (or at least the page on redhat.com). My username password is
correct, Ive added a entry in my /etc/hosts for the windows workstation and
Ive verified conectivity (big word for ping). Any help would be appreciated.
