Fedora, DNS settings for Intranet?

I have just replaced the Win2k DC of my small home LAN with Fedora,
however I am having trouble configuring the DNS portion. For what it
is worth, my ISP has given my a fixed IP and a registered domain name.

I previously used the Win2k DNS service to resolve internal queries
and forward external queries to my ISP DNS servers. Pretty straight
ahead in MS point-and-click land.

However, I cannot seem to resolve anything internally. I created what
I thought to be the proper zones. I can only ping IP's.

Does anyone know of any resources for setting up this type of intranet
DNS configuration?

Thanks!
