Hi. Can anyone tell me where I can find Fedora documentation?
I just installed Fedora, but without the benefit of any documentation.
(I installed RedHat and a couple of other distros years ago.)
The Documentation page says to enter the following to download the
documentation:
export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@rhlinux.redhat.com:/usr/local/CVA
cvs -z3 login
cvs -z3 co fedora-docs
Do the developers realize that not everyone has a working copy of Linux
to access these commands, or the knowledge of how to do something like
this? 8-( I did have Linspire installed, so tried this within Linspire
before installing Fedora. The second command prompted me for a password,
however. Since it appears to be an anonymous login, I tried my email
address, but got the following:
cvs login: warning: failed to open /root/.cvspass for reading: No such
file or directory
Thanks for your help.
