FC1 causing CPU temp increase
Date: Sun, 16 May 2004 22:33:03 GMT
I seem to be having a problem with fedora core making my CPU temperature sky
rocket. Im using a SOYO K7VTA with a Duron 850, no overclocking, running
Fedora Core 1. When I reboot and check the CPU temp in the bios it is over
110 degrees. When I reboot from windows the bios never states the CPU temp
is that hot. I have a good quality CPU fan and case fan.
Any ideas, thanks! Also, is there such a thing as a CPU temperature and fan
monitoring software for linux?
TIA!
