Hey,
I have firewire working but the SCSI stuff doesn't kick in and
recognise the disk. When I plug in the iPod (Generation 3) the
syslog stop at
May 15 23:30:20 x kernel: ieee1394: Node added: ID:BUS[0-00:1023]
GUID[000a2700026a1914]
May 15 23:30:20 x kernel: ieee1394: Node changed: 0-00:1023 ->
0-01:1023

SCSI is loaded as a kernel module and it works as my flash memory
stick uses it and works fine.
I've tried "modprobe sbp2 sbp2_force_inquiry_hack=1" and googled, I
cant see it documented before?
Linux bandit 2.4.22 #1 Fri Jan 30 17:09:19 CET 2004 i686 unknown unknown GNU/Linux
The iPod is fine and works under M$ W2kPro
Any ideas?
