Hiya,
I've installed both Fedora and Mandrake on my box numerous times. I've got
two 20 gig disks. The factory XP install is on the "master" and linux is
on the "slave".
So install your "new" drive as the slave or secondary HDD. Then when the
installer asks where to install Fedora, tell it to use "hdb", Fedora
should see that "hda" is formatted NTFS and will probably "suggest" the
second drive.
Fedora will ask where to install the bootloader. Choose hda, the windows
HDD. Both Grub and Lilo work just fine.
BTW, you can restore the Windows bootloader if you ever want to--as far as
I know, Grub/Lilo just supercedes the windows bootloader, but does not
erase it.
Good luck!
