I have just loaded RH9 and am fairly new to Linux. I would definitely
consider myself a Linux newbie. I am not, however, a comuting newbie.
I have XP/RH9 dual booting at home and a dedicated RH9 box at work. I ran
up2date at home and downloaded everything that needed to be updated. I tried
to do the same at work and was told that I had to order entitlements for any
machines beyond my first.
My question is whether buying the entitlemnt is worth the money or is
downloading and patching packages individually easy enough? When you run
Up2Date you are told which packages need to be updated, so it could just be
a matter of searching the web for each update one at a time.
Any thoughts?
