Fedora 2 + IMAP + POSTFIX + SMTP

I did a unpgrade today from Fedora Core 1 to Fedora Core 2.
I encountered many problems and the main one is sending and recieving
emails.
I can email from my box it self.. but if I use Outlook express to
send, it says cannot contact server, error port 25.. something like
that.
I cannot recieve emails either using IMAP via outlook express. It
hangs and does nothing.
I cannot recieve emails to my box. I can send from mutt but cannot
recieve anything at all.
So what is up with this new distribution? Fedora guys tried to enhance
it way too much. They should put a warning saying don't upgrade! Just
fresh install. And I am not going to fresh install a server!
So someone please explain to me how to fix this IMAP / SMTP problem.
