Well, I figured this one out on my own anyway.

Anyway, files of type 'HTML Page' work just fine, no problems at all.
The page I was using as my test was of type
'application/x-Mozilla-bookmarks', the file Mozilla and Firefox spits
out when you export your bookmarks.

Both have a .html extension though. I guess Linux uses some other method
of determining filetype other than just the extension? Sorry if I seem
ignorant, I'm a long time Windows boy.
