Hi everyone,
I installed Redhat 9 on my machine running windows 2003 enterprise. I
have a 18g HD. But after installation, GRUB shows only Redhat and DOS
as two options. when i try to boot DOS. NTLDR error is raised and asks
for a reboot.
fdisk shows the following table for /dev/hda
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 1 131 1052226 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hda2 132 523 3148740 6 FAT16
/dev/hda3 * 1218 2433 9767520 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hda4 524 1217 5574555 5 Extended
/dev/hda5 524 536 104391 83 Linux
/dev/hda6 537 1185 5213061 83 Linux
/dev/hda7 1186 1217 257008+ 82 Linux swap
Partition table entries are not in disk order
/etc/lilo.conf.anaconda contains followin lines of code
prompt
timeout=50
default=linux
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
message=/boot/message
lba32

label=linux
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.20-8.img
