Torrent File

I have Fedora Core 2. I've never messed with torrent files. I have
downloaded one. Actually it's "title.tar.torrent" I have not been able to
do anything with this. I thought I set everything up correctly but
obviously not since nothing happens. I lie...what happens when I double
click on it and after I tell it what to use (btdownloadgui.py) all that
happens is a spinning horglass for a few seconds and then nothing. Can
someone help?
