Greetings Folks:

Has anybody had any luck with getting WEP encryption to work with any of
their linux boxes? The only thing I can think of in terms of wireless
'security' is to restrict wireless access by way of mac addresses, but that
is a bit too basic for comfort. I know that some hotels utilize a software
product that essentially does two things - first, it tick tocks per minute
for profit (the trolls) and, second, it essentially nats your wireless
laptop as if it were its own DMZ. Still, this is not practical or
economical for corporate offices, etc.

Anybody have any success, or heard of any Electric Messaiah with regards to
WEP + 'nix?

Roger
