I've been running Fedora Core 1 for a couple of months on an old 500mhz
Compaq Deskpro. I'm using it as a test server for Apache/MySQL/PHP, and
other little server projects. Eventually I'll upgrade the box and use it as
the real deal. I use KDE for the interface, and I usually SSH in from
another station on the network, start a VNC service, and the VNC to the
desktop. Or I'll use Webmin or PHPMyAdmin, depending on what I want to do.
So, should I upgrade to Fedora Core 2? Would it be more trouble than it's
worth? And if I do upgrade, should I download the CD's and install from
there, or is there a better upgrade uption (I use apt for my program
upgrades).
Thanks for any advice. I've lurked around for a while, but I haven't really
seen someone state what the plain benefits of Core 2 are.
