Is there a reason why sendmail takes up to 5-8 minutes to start when it
never did before? I did some searching and found that most suggestions
point to DNS but my setup has not changed.

System: FC2/AMD-SMP/2.6.6-smp/512 RAM
sendmail-8.12.11-4.6 (Default Setup)
#/etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.2.70 amdsmp
------------------------
Linux amdsmp 2.6.6-1.435smp #1 SMP Mon Jun 14 09:31:56 EDT 2004 i686
athlon i386 GNU/Linux

thanks
