We have a web/mailserver based on Fedora Core 1 and Plesk 7. Outgoing mail
is done with qmail.
What I would like to do is change the server info in the outgoing mail
headers.
The software was installed by a third party that named the server after a
non existent domain.
Technically all is well and I only see this fake domain in the mail headers.
What I would like to do is change the
<Received: from srv00120.xxxxx.com>
to our domain:
<Received: from mailserver.mydomain.com>
the following IP address (and all other assigned IP addresses on which the
mailserver serves) is(are) exclusively ours so that would be no problem.
Do you have any idea which config file to edit to have qmail reflect our
domain?
Thanks!
Erwin.
Sample mail header, would like to change fake <srv00120.xxxxx.com> to other
(own) domain.
