Installing Snort Fed Core 2

I am trying to install
snort-2.0.4-1asp.i386.rpm
RPM reports that: libpcap.so.0.6.2 is required
I can't find a libpcap.so. for Fed Core 2
If I try 2 use libpcap.so.0.6.2 it reports that it conflicts with
libpcap-0.8.3-3
Please can anyone assist?
