Yes, as long as the Windows clients are configured properly.

Depends, you need to make sure that both the Linux samba configuration and
the Windows XP configuration for the 'printer shares' are the same.
Windows default 'printer shares' are not quite the same as the Linux samba
'printer shares' both at the 'sever' and 'client' side.

This should not be a problem when you have 'matching' configurations with
both Linux and Windows XP. Do the research, planning and work-- to get you
started;
