Best reference for Dual Booting (XP & Linux)- where?

There are som many refenences to setting up a dual-boot system, it's
impossible to know which ones are up to date, and correct.

Is there an ACCURATE/up-to-date, generally accepted reference for
setting up a dual boot system ?
