I have a need to build legacy C++ code using gcc 2.95.3 and having it
run on a FC2 distribution. The C++ code is not 100% compatible with
gcc 3.x.x and is sold old everyone is afraid to touch it.
? Is it possible to build and then use gcc 2.95.3 under FC2 -
(installed with --prefix=/usr/local/gcc-2.95.3 .. )
I have tried to build gcc 2.95.3 on an FC2 machine but I get
'configure.guess cannot determine host' or something like that.
