I am trying to mount three seperate storage divices while using Redhat 9. I
see two devices in my hardware browser, but do not know how to mount them .
The three devices are two memory cards (a 128 Sony memory stick and compact
flash cards of various sizes) These two cards are mounted to a Dazzle five
card reader which is a usb device. The third device I would like to mount
is a 256 mb Cruzer. This plugs into a USB port in my USB hub.
My browser shows this
/dev/sda
sda1 256 FAT16 (Cruzer 256 I presume)
sda2 8 no filesystem (my 8 mb Compactflash)
The 8mb card is formated for my old Epson camera. I usually use of my 256
mb Compactflash cards so I would like to be able to read various sized
cards in this slot.
My hardware browser does not see the Sony 128 though. This is less
important to me, but I am confused why it is not "seen". This Sony 128 is
mounted in the same 5 in 1 Dazzle card reader.
I am trying to teach myself command line, but I'm having a very hard time of
it. Thank you in advance.
Paul
