Video configuration help please

Hello all:
After a long struggle with my video card (ATI radeon mobility 9200) I
managed to configure it under FC3. It works but it has a slight haze to it
and I think that it has to do with the fact the I am using a generic
configuration for my monitor (sony vgn s150 notebook). This machine is a
dual boot and I have looked under linux and windows to find out which
monitor do I have so I can change it in the configuration, but no luck. May
be there is a command under linux that may help me determine which monitor I
have. Or oif there is a workaround to this issue I will be glad to get
informed on how to solve it
